a little of what we've been up to...

I knew it had been awhile since I last updated this blog…but I didn't realize it had been about 2 months!   Seriously, I don't know how the days get filled up so quickly.   Apparently, there is a lot that goes on during the months of November and December ;).

Anyhow, here are about 50 pictures to sum up the best parts of our past 60 days...

Chad's hunting girls

Thanksgiving…Livie dressed up as pilgrim for her preschool class

chopping down our Christmas tree

it truly was our best tree EVER!

Alex and Brittany = engaged!!! We are THRILLED for them and praise God for bringing them together!

The girls had lots of birthday parties for Jesus with their nativity set :)

Liv's Christmas party at Preschool…more singing!

and MORE singing!  Community Bible Study…Livie and Emma both sang this time ;).  Can you find them?

First big snow fall!  We made Mercy a little snow man :)

Making Chrsitmas cookies with Grandma

What Emma chose to do the majority of the time we made cookies :)

Dress up...when I asked Emma what she dressed up as, she said, "A PRINCESS!"…haha

Livie turned 4 on December 20th :)

she was one happy birthday girl

She just wanted a pony…thanks Uncle Alex for pulling through on that one ;)

Mercy's best talents to date - rolling ALL over, grabbing toys, and smiling A LOT :)

We had 6 Christmases in 5 days…the 5th was at my parents and we were still going strong on Christmas spirit :).

the girls showing off their gifts from their California cousins…we really missed Andrea, Traever, and their kids this year :(.

Christmas morning!

The Herman Christmas was our last one…and definitely most unique ;)…lots of games, ear wax candling, and fun.

Post Christmas, there were lots of smiles too

and ice-fishing :)

these crazy kids on New Years day...

And then to welcome in the new year….that 1st night, Chad and I got a nasty stomach bug…which then hit the girls two nights later.  NOT fun :(.  But we made it through.

And so, we welcome 2014!  We know it's going to be an interesting year (to say the least)…and a year that we hope we can look back on and say that we grew mightily in our relationship with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.  For HE is our everything!
